storyteller, observer.
I believe the best photographs live somewhere between carefully considered and completely unplanned.
I’m Madeline—a photographer based in Forrest, Manitoba, working throughout Brandon, Clear Lake, and wherever your story leads. I founded Madeline Photo in 2021 with a love for people, honest emotion, and the beauty found in ordinary days.
Alongside my photography, I’m a fourth-year psychology student at Brandon University. Studying how people connect, communicate, and feel at ease has shaped the way I guide every session: enough direction to help you settle in, with plenty of room for the moments that are genuinely yours.
Creativity and community carry through the rest of my work, too. At J&G Homes, I contribute to interior selections, visual storytelling, and marketing—work that continues to shape the way I think about atmosphere, thoughtful details, and the feeling of home. I also teach piano and have spent years creating and supporting programs for children and young people in my community through coaching, youth events, childcare, and volunteering. These roles have taught me how to meet people where they are, bring calm into a space, and notice the little things that make someone feel most like themselves.
Time spent travelling and modelling in South America and Europe sharpened my eye for atmosphere and story, while my small-town roots keep my work grounded in home, family, and community. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me cooking, gardening, at Pilates, reading, or gathering the people I love around a table.
